Versatility Program

Versatility "VC" (Certificate)

Total of 6 points drawn from at least 3 categories , 1 title must be from a  CKC event. 

Versatility   Excellent    "VCX"  (Medallion)

Total of 9 points drawn from at least 3 categories, with a minimum of two categories where the value of the points is at least two.

Versatility Champion " VCh" (Medallion)

Total of 12 points drawn from at least 4 categories, with a minimum of two categories where the value of the points is at least three.

Versatility Grand Champion "VGCh” (Medallion)

Total of 15 points drawn from at least 5 categories, with a minimum of two categories where the value of the points is at least four.

Versatility Grand Champion Excellent (VGChX) (Medallion)

To earn this achievement, the dog needs 20 points, in 6 categories. Two categories with a minimum of 4 points and another one with a minimum of 3 points.

For all awards:

Applicants must have either a CH OR be altered/on a non-breeding agreement/limited registration, OR have had hips and elbows evaluated with a minimum passing grade of good.

Applicants must have one “temperament certification” (CGN/CGC/TT/SPOT/Therapy dog certification).  In lieu of this, proof of working with an organization that has the dog doing regular visitations and/or outreach may be submitted will be evaluated on an individual basis. The named organization will be required to substantiate the applicant’s claim.

A maximum of two ½ points may be used towards any title. 1 title per sport may count towards an award.

The Versatility Program is open to Dalmatians only, similar to the distance log program. For a non-registered Dalmatian, please contact the DCC to confirm the dog’s breed.

To acknowledge regional availability of some licensing bodies, comparable titles from organizations not listed will be evaluated on an individual basis.
